Drawings will be held the 4th Saturday of each month starting on January 27, 2024 and each month through October. Tickets are $50 each for the entire ten months. A banquet will be held on the drawing day in October. Contact Chuck at - post8legion@gmail.com - to renew your previous number or to purchase a new ticket. Mail your check to the post, made out to "American Legion 8".
Post Meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month. There are no meetings in July and August.
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.

The Sons of The American Legion was created in 1932 as an organization within The American Legion The S.A.L. is made up of boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the United States military and became eligible for membership in The American Legion
